Summary

Every Saturday, Oliver buys his groceries. This takes him two hours every week. What a waste of time, Oliver doesn’t like waiting in line. But, then again, who does?

Today though, as Oliver walks into his local supermarket, he notices a new advertisement: « To avoid waiting in line, download the Duck The Line (JeFile) app for free ». Intrigued, Oliver downloads it right away.

When he’s almost done shopping, Oliver gets in the online waiting line with Duck The Line, thanks to his smartphone. The application reader lets him know that he can head to the cash register in 10 minutes, giving him some time to stroll down the aisles and find a ball for his Labrador, Caramel.

5 minutes before his turn, Oliver gets a notification that lets him know his turn to check out is soon and also tells him which cash register he needs to go to.

When he gets there, there is only one customer in front of Oliver, who is in the process of paying for his purchases. Oliver realizes that he didn’t waste time waiting in line at the cash register and that Caramel will be happy, too.
