Summary

BistroBox is Austria's first 24-hour pizzeria where customers can bake themselves an oven-fresh pizza around the clock. This is made possible by the most unusual pizza oven imaginable. He bakes the pizza at the push of a button using hot air in just 2 minutes and serves it fresh from the oven.

BistroBox was founded by 3 graduates of the University of Applied Sciences Wels with the idea of developing a very special pizza oven. Namely one who bakes the pizza at the push of a button and serves it to the customer oven-fresh. The first prototype oven was made from Mama's kitchen oven and the first pre-series units were still made in a laboratory at the University of Applied Sciences in Wels. It took several thousand pizzas and many hungry students as test eaters until the oven-fresh pizza was really ready for series production at the push of a button. But not only the technology but also the pizza recipe have been developed step by step. Since its market launch, more than half a million pizza snacks have now been baked by customers in BistroBox's hot-air ovens. Through continuous development, the original idea of the pizza oven has now developed into a completely new gastronomic concept called 24h Pizzeria. The special feature is the combination of an oven-fresh pizza with opening hours 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

BistroBox now employs 12 people in Upper Austria. The search for franchise partners who want to use the successful BistroBox model as a business concept is currently underway.
