SmartBar USA designed The Smartender, an automated cocktail dispensing system which aims to replace the back-of-house bartender who pours drinks for servers at chain restaurants, casinos and sports stadiums. The system costs roughly $30,000 including shipping, installation and training for employees. The company also has a portable version, which is available for home use for $25,000.
The Smartender is designed for heavy volume and requires little training. Anyone can operate the Smartender.
